Paige Adair is a multidisciplinary artist based in Atlanta, GA. Primarily through painting and animation, she explores the shifting contours of nature and creature, and the precarious boundary between interior and exterior worlds. Drawing inspiration from subversive fairy tales, her work reimagines familiar narratives by unsettling their symbols and hierarchies. Environments function as liminal spaces that are part landscape and part psyche, where transformation and longing unfold. Recurring figures such as swans, serpents, and other mythic beasts act as agents of metamorphosis, desire, and threat, evoking cycles of becoming within the natural and imagined world.
